• Contains: Last 50 product IDs in viewing order
• Requirement: Only stored if you accept tracking (via cookie banner)
• Usage: Shows your recently viewed chargers on the home page

2.3 Session Cookies

• Purpose: Maintain functionality during your browsing session
• Duration: Deleted when you close your browser
• No Consent Needed: Essential for site operation

3. Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit OMS, you'll see a cookie banner with three options:

What happens: Only essential cookies are stored.
Impact: No product tracking, no personalized recommendations. You'll see popular products by view count only.

⚙️ Partially Accept

What happens: Only essential and mandatory cookies (no tracking).
Impact: Same as "Deny All" - no personalized recommendations.
Best for: Users concerned about tracking but want site functionality.

✅ Accept All

What happens: All cookies are allowed, including tracking.
Impact: We remember your viewed products and show personalized recommendations on the home page.
Best for: Users who want a fully personalized experience.

5. How Personalization Works

When you accept all cookies:

1. Visit a product page → Product ID is saved to viewed_products
2. Product view count increases (database)
3. Visit home page → We show your recently viewed chargers first
4. If less than 4 viewed items → Fill remaining slots with top-rated products

6. Third-Party Cookies

We currently do NOT use third-party cookies from:

• ❌ Google Analytics (no tracking)
• ❌ Advertising networks
• ❌ Social media tracking
• ❌ Retargeting pixels

Future Note: If we add analytics, you'll be notified and can manage preferences.

7. How to Manage Cookies

7.1 Change Your Preferences Anytime

• Click "Cookie Settings" in the footer
• The cookie banner will reappear with your current choices
• Select new preferences
• Changes take effect immediately
